The Basics
WoofWatch is our live kennel viewing add-on. It lets you check in on your dog in real time during their boarding stay, using secure, GDPR-compliant streaming technology. Think of it as a window into their day — so you can see them settled, happy and well cared for while you’re away.
It’s live, real-time footage only. Nothing is recorded, saved or stored. You watch your dog as it happens during your chosen viewing window, and once the window closes the stream ends. This keeps things private, secure and focused on the moment.
Our viewing windows are designed around your dog’s wellbeing. Dogs settle best with a calm, consistent routine, so we offer scheduled windows rather than round-the-clock access. This gives you genuine reassurance without disrupting nap times, feeding, enrichment and rest — the things that keep your dog relaxed and happy.
WoofWatch is available in selected kennels. When you book, we’ll let you know whether your dog’s accommodation is set up for it. If you’d like to request WoofWatch, mention it at the time of booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
What Should I Expect to See?
Every dog is different, and there’s no single “right” thing to see. Once your dog has been through their kennel routine — clean-out, feeding and exercise — you might catch them doing any of the following, and all of it is perfectly normal and healthy:
- Resting or sleeping in their bed. Dogs sleep 12–14+ hours a day, and a settled, snoozing dog is a content one.
- Up at the bars engaging with staff, watching the comings and goings of the day.
- Out in the back run enjoying the extra space with their toys.
- Lying with their back to the camera — not sulking, just comfortable.
- Barking or vocalising, often out of excitement as staff or other dogs pass by.
- Playing, pottering or mooching about with enrichment toys.
- Interacting with neighbouring dogs through the bars — sociable and stimulating.
- Eating a little less on the first day. This is common as dogs adjust, and usually settles quickly.
- Being quiet or still on arrival day, especially first-time boarders. Most dogs settle into the routine within a day or so.
Almost certainly not. A calm, resting dog is showing you they feel safe and settled. Each dog has their own personality — some are bouncy and busy, others are quiet and laid-back — and a relaxed, sleepy pup is exactly what we love to see.
A 5-minute viewing is just a small snapshot of your dog’s day, and dogs often behave a little differently in a new environment to begin with. Viewing Windows & Timings
There are three viewing windows each day:
- Morning: 07:00 – 08:00
- Midday: 12:00 – 14:30
- Evening: 17:30 – 19:30
You can log in at any point during a window to use one of your viewings.
Each viewing lasts 5 minutes. It’s a quick, reassuring check-in — enough time to see your dog is settled, comfortable and being well looked after.
Yes. As long as you have viewings remaining in your package, you can use them in whichever windows suit you across the day — a morning check-in, a midday look and an evening glance, for example. Once your viewings for the package are used up, that’s your allocation for the stay (see pricing below).
Viewings are tied to the live windows, so if you’re not able to log in during a window, that time simply passes. Because nothing is recorded, there’s no catch-up footage — but any unused viewings in your package remain available for the next window during your dog’s stay.

WoofWatch is an optional add-on to your boarding booking. We offer three packages, with a discount for Paws & Perks members:

You choose one package per stay, not per day. Pick the option that fits how often you’d like to check in, add it to your booking, and you’re set for your dog’s visit.
No — viewings can’t be rolled over to a future stay, and packages expire at checkout. We’ve made the bundles generous so you get great value within the stay itself. If you think you’ll want to check in often, the Peace of Mind package gives you unlimited viewings during the windows.

Quick Check-In suits a shorter stay or an occasional peek. Stay Connected is our most popular middle option — a few check-ins across a typical stay. Peace of Mind is ideal for nervous owners, first-time boarders or longer stays where you’d like to look in as often as you like.
How It Works
It’s a simple four-step process:
1. Choose your package when you book.
2. Receive your secure login details.
3. Log in during a viewing window.
4. Check in on your dog — and relax.
Just an internet connection and a phone, tablet, laptop or computer with a web browser. There’s no special app to download — you log in using the details we send you and watch directly in your browser.
Your login is for your household to check in on your own dog. Please keep your details private and don’t share them outside your family, as access is secure and personal to your booking.
Yes — just get in touch with the team before or during your dog’s stay and we’ll add it where the kennel supports it. The sooner you let us know, the sooner you can start checking in.
Privacy, Security & Welfare
Yes. WoofWatch uses secure, GDPR-compliant streaming, and access is private to your booking via your personal login. Only your dog’s viewing area is shown during your scheduled windows.
Not at all. The camera is unobtrusive and your dog won’t behave any differently. The scheduled windows are deliberately built around their routine so that rest, feeding and enrichment are never interrupted — welfare always comes first.
Our team is on hand throughout the day caring for your dog. If anything ever concerns you during a viewing, contact us straight away on 01562 731123 and we’ll check on your dog right away and put your mind at ease.
Occasionally technology has an off day. If you can’t log in or the stream won’t load during a window, contact the team and we’ll help troubleshoot. We’ll always make sure you’re looked after if there’s a genuine technical problem on our side.
